REVIEW: The Biggest Loser: Last Chance Workout DVD

Ok….
So.. I popped in the DVD and clicked on the weekly schedule option.. which is basically a workout routine for everyday (Mon-Sat).. I’m all smiles and ready to go as Jillian begins talking in her get er’ done voice! Great right! well the happy/sad news is… I only lasted halfway thru the Monday last chance routine before feeling like I was going to throw up! which I believe had alot to do with the fact that the heat in my apartment was blasting ( I will def. open a window next time around ) Why Happy?… Well for once a workout DVD did what I’ve always wanted a Fitness DVD to do and that was to… KICK MY BUTT!!

PROS:
- Only $9.99 ( a steal! )
- You don’t need alot of extra equipment… I used my 5lb dumbell’s
- You have the option to personalize / Customize your workout based on your skill set
- There’s an option called training tips where exercise’s are given to you based on different equipment used. ex. Weight Ball, exercise bands etc.
- 6 Weeks worth of exercise routines so that your not bored and done with the video after just a week!
- As you become stronger you don’t have to throw this dvd out.. just use heavier weights and you will continue to be challenged.
- Once you’ve been doing this video for a while.. you might not enjoy hearing jillian’s voice as much as you did in the beginning.. NO PROBLEM!… they give you the option to turn Jillians voice off and keep that music going. ( AWESOME! ) Although, Jillian doesn’t have that typical workout video trainer voice/dialogue in this video.. rather she’s talking to you and to the other people in the video as if she were right there training you in your gym!
- The other participants in the video aren’t sculpted and super fly!!! I mean honestly… who wants to stare at people who’ve made it already… The people in the video are curvy, relatable and of all different ages! ( Contestants of past biggest loser seasons of course lol ) so you feel great going along with them… they even mess up a few times not like those fitness DROIDS! we see in most dvd’s haha.
- They show you how to do the moves for beginners or those who can’t really put to much strain on their joints.
- You sweat.. A LOT!
CONS:
Ummm… Ummm…. Hmmmmm… Honestly.. I’m really reaching here but I suppose….
- If you don’t have room to do lunges in all diff. directions, jumping jacks and front/side kicks than this video won’t be for you… You really want to have the room to go all in with the exercises
- Jillian Michael’s isn’t really in your living room with you… it’s just a recording lol

* I really loved doing this review for all of you and will def. get back to doing more fitness reviews for you all like I was doing in the past! - I plan on using this DVD to reach my July goal and will let you know how this video really added to my fitness/ weight-loss!
